Danny Brown

Danny Brown has been in the hip-hop game for quiet awhile and is now just starting to make some noise. The first song I heard from danny was grown up and I thought all his songs were going to be kind of poppy girl songs.. and than I download his album and found out it was the complete opposite.. Before he got into the rap game was selling crack in Detroit just trying to back ends meat. Now he's selling out concert venues and makings some buzz in the hip-hop industry. His style is a weird but that's what makes him different.. It took be awhile to get it to his flow but check out some songs that got me into him.. and check out this documentary.

Danny Brown - XXX [2/5]
(overall I didn't like the album but some songs are sick. Im expecting more from this guy soon though.)

Grown Up Super chill beat! Something I listen to everyday to start my day. Great vibe! The chorus is really dope and love how the scratch his voice! Don't here people mixing much any more.. Lyrics are dope as fuck too! Great tune.. [5/5] (Download Here)

Fields Danny also takes about his life in Detroit but this song he really goes in depth.. Check out the lyrics online.. Chorus is about how in Detroit you only see a house, field, field, abandon house, field, field. Slow airy beat. Chill old school hip hop drum line.. [4/5]

Radio Song It starts off with just a drum line and danny going in. And than the bass line drums, chorus comes along and pianos and some vocals come in. Super simple and that the shit I like. took me awhile to like the song but I love the topic of this song.. "You can't get on without a radio song, this my radio song!". [4/5]

DNA Slow jazzy beat. Really like the drum loop on this track. Chorus is catch as fuck - "It's in my DNA, cause my fam like to get fucked up the same way." I really like this song! Defiantly something to smoke a blunt too! [5/5]
